Biography

Malina is an Austin-based artist, born and raised in Transylvania, Romania. Along with her art practice she teaches kiln-formed glass classes in Austin, TX. Inspired by the impermanent nature of our world, the artist captures transitory moments in glass, as an abstract memento, reminding the viewer to slow down and take a visual journey as well as an introspective one. She sees glass as a symbol of the delicate balance we all strive for - a reminder to reflect on our strength and resilience while appreciating the beauty that surrounds us.
